MEET YOUR BRIGADE
Staci Thornton Ryan
I know vending like the back of my hand! I grew up in the family vending business and eventually became the branch manager at our company’s Atlanta, GA branch. Since I’ve learned all the aspects of running a vending business from top to bottom, I intricately understand how changes impact your business. Since 2010, I’ve learned how to harness the power of Seed – and discovered how many are not! I graduated from University of Georgia (go Dawgs!) and married into the Army. I live in West Point, NY with my husband and two kids.
Shawn Evans
I am very familiar with the Seed database after working directly with it for many years. This wasn’t always the case though! I proudly served my country in the U.S. Army with two tours to OIF (Operation Iraqi Freedom). My wife and four children moved with me to Atlanta, GA, where I became a vending route driver. I quickly became a route supervisor, where I managed drivers, routes, schedules, and more through the Seed database for 10 years. It is a privilege to translate this technology into an easy resource that anyone can use.
Don Blotner
Don Blotner, well known in the vending and foodservice industry, has been in the industry for over 40 years. He spent 18 years working in the family business, learning the trade from bottom to top. Since leaving the family business, he has been an industry resource, providing management and operations insight, as well as analysis and project management for a wide variety of entities. Don has considerable experience in a multitude of arenas, including large-scale acquisitions, operational changes, data platform transitions and has knowledge of many of the major software platforms in our business channel. Notably, he worked for Cantaloupe Systems during the build, rollout and implementation of Seed Office.
We are Staci and Shawn, a Veteran-owned and operated duo. Together, we have 65+ years of industry experience and love sharing our expertise of Seed. We are carefully building our team with military spouses, allowing them to stay consistently employed (which is often difficult, due to constantly relocating).
